Perfume Flacons

The origins of perfume trace back to fragrant fumes offered up to the gods. The containers holding these scents also had to be of the highest quality and beauty. This museum has a wide and varied collection of perfume flacons. These take us on a 5,000-year journey through the history of perfume containers, from ancient times down to the modern era.
